The Ultimate Speed Queen: A Hybrid Masterpiece
The Bugatti Tourbillon, unveiled yesterday, is a powerful hybrid featuring 800 horsepower from three electric motors along with a 1,000 horsepower 8.3-liter Cosworth V16 gasoline engine.
Two of the electric motors are located in the front axle system, while the third motor is integrated into the rear axle assembly. These motors are powered by an 800V, 25kWh oil-cooled battery, which is situated in the central tunnel and behind the passengers. This battery casing is also a part of the car’s carbon fiber chassis.
