Hewlett-Packard Powers Venturi Formula E with Cutting-Edge Technology
The Monaco-based Venturi Formula E Team has named Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as their official technology partner for the next three seasons of the FIA ABB Formula E. With HPE’s knowledge and technology, Venturi aims to enhance both their on-track and off-track performance, streamlining team operations and improving race execution.
Antonio Neri, HPE’s president and CEO, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that HPE is eager to support the future of auto racing by applying their world-class technologies and services to Venturi’s operations, boosting both their efficiency and engineering capabilities.
HPE brings extensive experience from various motorsports, including Formula One, Formula E, IndyCar, and Nascar, and excels in offering edge-to-cloud services. Gildo Pastor, president of Venturi Formula E, expressed confidence that this collaboration will expedite the team’s development and strengthen their corporate structure, thanks to HPE’s expertise. He believes the dynamic and fast-paced nature of Formula E will provide a mutually rewarding experience.
HPE plans to deploy a team of technical specialists and devise an innovation strategy for Venturi, integrating platforms and artificial intelligence. From the start of season five in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on December 15, 2018, HPE’s branding will be prominently displayed on the cars of Felipe Massa and Edoardo Mortara, the team’s gear, and other designated channels. Jim Jackson, CMO at HPE, highlighted that leveraging data effectively is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge. He explained that the partnership with Venturi is about utilizing advanced technology to convert data into actionable insights, driving innovation more efficiently than ever before.
