Embedded World Event Called Off

Embedded World Event Called Off

Next year’s Embedded World exhibition and conference in Nuremberg has been cancelled and will be held online from March 1 to 5, 2021.

The trade fair and its related conferences will now be virtual and will be called Embedded World Digital. This change is Nürnberg Messe’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to give everyone enough time to prepare.

Benedikt Weyerer, the exhibition director, mentioned that feedback from the embedded community highlights a strong desire for interaction, networking, and communication among professionals despite the challenging times. By deciding early to go digital for Embedded World 2021, they are providing exhibitors and participants with the necessary planning security. The virtual event in early March 2021 will allow experts from all over the globe to engage in professional discussions.

The digital format will give exhibitors a platform to present their companies and demonstrate products. They can also join in digital exhibitor forums, networking tables, and open discussions. There is even a matchmaking feature to help connect interested parties with the right exhibitors, making it easier for participants from around the world, including the EU, USA, China, and Japan, to access valuable insights from the embedded community.

Both the Embedded World and Electronic Displays conferences will also be completely digital. The next in-person exhibition and conference are scheduled for March 15 to 17, 2022, in Nuremberg.
