Diodes Revolutionizes Switch Addresses with ADAS Technology
Diodes is tackling the growing demands for advanced automotive computing and high-speed connections with its new PI3DBS16222Q switch. This four-channel differential exchange switch is designed to optimize performance in automotive infotainment systems, telematics, SATA 3.0, SAS 3.0, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
This automotive-grade device allows 2×2 differential multiplexing, reaching speeds of up to 20Gbit/s. It also supports USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCI Express 4.0, and 10GbaseKR standards, making it versatile for various high-speed applications.
Thanks to a unique design technique, the switch enhances dynamic electrical features, achieving an insertion loss of -2.0dB at 10GHz (typical) and crosstalk of -17dB at 10GHz (typical), which ensures robust signal integrity. It also boasts a bit-to-bit skew of just 10ps and low return loss.
The multi-channel switch is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified, produced in IATF 16949 certified facilities, and comes with PPAP documentation. It’s packaged in a 2.5 by 4.5mm TQFN-30L (ZL30) case.
