Ampa and Autotronics Extend Online Presence until May 6
Couldn’t make it to Taiwan for Taipei Ampa and Autotronics this month? No worries, you can still catch the online version until May 6.
The in-person event, which ended last week, ran for four days and drew in over 10,000 visitors. They had the chance to check out products from nearly 400 exhibitors spread across around 800 booths, showcasing the latest trends and advancements in the global automotive industry.
As 2021’s first automotive trade show, Ampa featured companies from all over Taiwan. Alongside well-known names, new players like Yang Min and Emu Taiwan caught attention with their latest innovations. Nan Hoang, a longtime participant, celebrated its 60th anniversary by revealing new products at a special launch.
The event also hosted EV and IoV forums, offering deep dives into the future of transportation. The forums featured celebrities who shared their automotive experiences, attracting close to 2,000 participants.
An online platform launched alongside the physical event has seen over 70,000 visitors so far. Through this site, attendees could engage with exhibitors, including high-level executives from major companies like Nissan, Yamaha, and Hong Hai.
Ampa Online also attracted buyers from new and emerging markets, giving exhibitors a chance to expand their reach. Companies like Taiwan Brake Technology, Yes Energy, and Hao Jheng praised the online platform, with Hao Jheng noting that it allowed them to connect with buyers from Latin America for the first time.
International exhibitors like PTT Oil and Keysight found the platform beneficial for maintaining their presence in one of Asia’s key automotive markets.
Even though the in-person event is over, Ampa Online stays live until May 6. This allows buyers and exhibitors to keep networking and exchanging e-business cards, maintaining the momentum of the physical show.
Mark your calendars for next year’s Taipei Ampa and Autotronics Taipei, scheduled for April 20-23.
