Intel Infuses Red Bull X-Fighters with Thrilling Innovation
This week, Intel and Red Bull unveiled their plan to make the annual Red Bull X-Fighters freestyle motocross competition even more thrilling. They’re doing this by providing athletes and fans with real-time insights into the amazing stunts performed during the event.
Thanks to Intel’s technology, data about the athletes’ performances will be displayed on screens as the action unfolds. This will give the audience a fresh perspective and also provide valuable information for coaches and athletes to improve their training.
Back in January, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Intel and Red Bull’s media arm, Red Bull Media House, announced a global partnership. This collaboration will impact various genres and platforms, and the Red Bull X-Fighters event showcases the first of many innovative audience experiences they aim to deliver.
Additionally, Intel’s tech has already been used in other major sports events this year. For instance, it was integrated into snowboards at the X-Games in Aspen and BMX bikes in Austin.
You can catch the Red Bull X-Fighters live broadcast at 10pm CET on June 24th on Red Bull TV, which is accessible on connected TVs, gaming consoles, and mobile devices. Unfortunately for viewers in the USA, the stream is geo-blocked but will be available on Fox Sports 1.
