ST Microelectronics Secures Top Position in SiC Market

Last year, ST led the market as the top supplier of SiC devices, holding a 32.6% market share. Together, the top five suppliers commanded around 91.9% of the total revenue. Onsemi made a notable jump, moving from fourth to second place in 2022. Despite strong demand from electric vehicles driving last year’s market, a slowdown in EV sales growth is expected to significantly slow down the SiC device market this year, according to TrendForce.
