Dell and Nvidia Unveil Next-Gen AI Factory Enhancements

Dell and NVIDIA have teamed up to enhance the Dell AI Factory, making it easier for organizations to implement AI.

“Companies are racing to seize the AI opportunity, so our partnership with NVIDIA is crucial,” says Michael Dell. “By expanding the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, we’re working together to simplify AI implementation, paving the way for organizations to embrace this new technological era.”

Jensen Huang adds, “Generative AI needs a specialized infrastructure – an AI factory that generates intelligence. With our collaboration, NVIDIA and Dell are offering industries a comprehensive solution that includes computing, networking, and software. This drives innovations such as copilots, coding assistants, virtual customer service agents, and industrial digital twins for the digital enterprise.”

The Dell AI Factory now combines Dell’s premier AI portfolio with the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, featuring NVIDIA Tensor Core GPUs, NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, and NVIDIA Bluefield DPUs.

Customers can choose custom integrations to fit their needs or pre-validated, full-stack solutions to kickstart AI projects requiring high performance, such as RAG, model training, and inferencing. Enhancements to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA offer:

– Advanced computing power for large-scale AI deployments.
– Accelerated edge AI application deployment with Dell NativeEdge and NVIDIA.
– Simplified development and deployment of AI applications for quicker results.

The Dell Generative AI Solution for Digital Assistants supports rapid deployment of digital assistants, providing personalized self-service experiences on a full-stack Dell and NVIDIA platform. Implementation Services for Digital Assistants guide organizations through the design, planning, implementation, testing, and scaling stages.

These solutions help organizations rapidly set up AI environments for various use cases with automated full-stack deployment, developed in partnership with NVIDIA. This automation boosts value realization by up to 86% compared to DIY approaches. With NVIDIA NIM inference microservices, the time from delivery to operational inferencing jobs is further shortened.

NIM microservices offer enterprise developers optimized, production-ready inference engines for popular AI models from NVIDIA and its partners.

New Dell Accelerator Services for RAG on Precision AI Workstations speed up the AI development cycle, producing better-performing AI applications. This is achieved through a custom large language model using RAG on Dell Precision workstations, supported by the NVIDIA AI Workbench. The Workbench serves as a secure environment for experimenting, testing, and prototyping AI and ML projects.
